The prestigious European Tax Awards of the International Tax Review’s take place annually and recognise the leading tax professionals around Europe. The firms are judged on key criteria such as size, innovation and complexity of their transactions. After being awarded in 2015 for the work on the BUWOG spin-off with the “European Capital Market Tax Deal of the Year” bpv Hügel is nominated for the “Austrian Tax Firm of the Year” for the third time in a row.

The BAI Bauträger Group has EUR 1.7bn real estate investment volume and a 440,000 sqm development portfolio. BAI was sold by UniCredit Bank Austria to a joint venture of SIGNA and investor group. bpv Hügel advised the management of the target in the course of the transaction.
