bpv Hügel was mandated by conwert for the squeeze-out of ECO Business-Immobilien AG together with the delisting of the ECO shares.

Vienna/Mödling, 7 June 2016. Hügel was mandated by conwert for the squeeze-out of ECO Business-Immobilien AG together with the delisting of the ECO shares.

In April this year an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of ECO resolved unanimously upon the squeeze-out with cash compensation. Pursuant to the registration with the Companies Register on 1 June 2016 the squeeze-out became effective and the ECO shares of the minority shareholders have been transferred to ECO Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH (subsidiary of conwert). At the same time the shares have been delisted from the Vienna Stock Exchange.

bpv Hügel advised conwert and its subsidiary ECO Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH for the structuring and on all legal aspects of the squeeze-out. ECO Business-Immobilien appointed by Baker & McKenzie.
