Ingo Braun is a partner in the financing & regulatory practice. He specialises in financing transactions, financial market regulation and in this connection, he also advises on restructurings.

Another focus is insurance law and Ingo Braun advises insurers and reinsurers in particular on the settlement of major claims and the defence of coverage claims.

He has a broad consulting field in the financial market regulation, he is also active in employment and data protection matter. Other areas include commercial agreements, also with IT conex.

Publications and Lectures
Ingo Braun publishes on financial market, insolvency, data protection and insurance law and is the author of the Austrian chapter in “Performing and Non-Performing Loan Transactions Across the World, A Practical Guide”, in the Chambers Practice Guide – Insurance and Reinsurance – Trends and Developments in Austria and in the “Praxishandbuch DSGVO“. He is also a frequent lecturer.

Ingo Braun is partner at bpv Huegel since 2021. Prior to that, he was a partner in international commercial law firms in Vienna and worked as a secondee at one of the largest international commercial law firms in London. In 2004, Ingo was one of the founders of the Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP).
