European Tax Awards 2019: bpv Huegel scoops 4 nominations

After being named “Austria Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year” previous year, bpv Huegel is honoured with four European and national nominations for this year’s European Tax Awards. The awards recognise the leading tax firms across Europe.

10 April 2019. For the fifth time in a row, bpv Huegel’s tax team is shortlisted for the prestigious “Austria Tax Firm of the Year” award. In total, the tax practice earns nominations in four European and national categories.

Nominations in four categories

The work on tax disputes, including fiscal criminal cases, audits, rulings and transaction structuring, has been acknowledged with nominations in national and European categories: “Austria Tax Firm of the Year“, „European Indirect Tax Firm of the Year“ and „European Court of Justice Firm of the Year – Indirect Tax“. The team is again shortlisted as “Austria Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year”.

Recognition of exceptional work

The awards, which are presented by the European magazine International Tax Review, celebrate the best tax and transfer pricing firms across the EMEA region in the last 12 months. The firms are judged according to key criteria such as size, innovation and complexity of the transactions. Law firms, tax advisers and in-house tax teams across 26 countries are competing for the awards of the prestigious magazine. The winners will be announced in London on 16 May 2019.
