March 09, 2022. bpv Huegel’s insolvency team is pleased to have received an excellent rating in the JUVE magazine. In addition to the firm’s in-depth expertise, it was particularly emphasized that bpv Huegel is one of the few large law firms to “cover the entire repertoire of insolvency law“. The team has an exceptionally broad range of expertise in insolvency proceedings and acts as insolvency administrators as well as debtors’ and creditors’ representatives. Furthermore, the team can also score points with its high level of competence in the banking sector.
Partner Bernhard Schatz was particularly “often recommended“, especially for his “pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and negotiation” (client) and as a “top administrator” with “always exciting cases” (competitor).
Some of the significant mandates emphasized in the evaluation are, for example, the appointment for former board members of the Commerzialbank Mattersburg, which received heavy media coverage, and the debtor representation of insolvent airlines, where the bpv Huegel team was able to benefit from its extensive experience in complex international mandates.
