Annual Conference on Group Law 2019

On November 14, 2019, the annual conference “Konzernrecht 2019” of the Manz Rechtsakademie takes place. Among the speakers will also be our partner Sonja Dürager, Head of IP/IT/Data Protection-Team. She will give a lecture on how to deal with data protection issues in a group structure. Her presentation will focus on the following topics:

– Group privilege under the GDPR? Permissibility of data flows within a group (e.g. shared services, matrix organisation)
– Data transfer in a multinational group: What are appropriate safeguards? relevance of binding corporate rules?
– the concept of group in the system of the administrative fines under the GDPR
