Successful start to the year: Moot Court Party at bpv Huegel

January 2026. With its traditional Moot Court Party, bpv Huegel successfully kicked off the new year 2026 and welcomed students, lawyers, and guests to its premises.

The event was brought to a successful conclusion with the closing party and award ceremony, hosted by Florian Plattner, partner at bpv Huegel, and Barbara Valente, attorney at law at bpv Huegel.

The Vienna preliminary round of the Moot Court 2025/2026 took place on January 9, 2026. We are particularly pleased with the success of the team supervised by Florian Plattner and Barbara Valente, which achieved 2nd place and thus qualified for the national finals.

The Moot Court offers students a valuable opportunity to combine legal theory with practice and to work on realistic cases together with leading law firms.

We congratulate all participating teams and wish the qualified teams every success in the national finals!
