Diversity and gender equality – LexisNexis and Women in Law invited Austria’s top female lawyers to a round table to discuss

Our partner Elke Napokoj together with other top class female lawyers highlighted that much has already been achieved, but we still need changes to achieve equality. Strong media coverage confirms the importance of the topic.

25 September 2020. bpv Huegel pays special attention to diversity and inclusion. With 5 female partners bpv Huegel has one of the best gender ratio (approx. 30%) of the top 20 Austrian law firms and we are proud that approx. 54% of our associates are female.

This year bpv Huegel expressed its binding commitment on diversity and inclusion by joining the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Charter. We are Austria’s first and only firm to join this charter and to express this particular commitment to diversity and inclusion.
