bpv Hügel strengthens the M&A and Banking-Team with Holger Steinborn

The experienced transaction lawyer and compliance-expert joins the renowned team of bpv Hügel in February 2018.

Moedling/Vienna, 23 February 2018. Attorney-at-law, Holger Steinborn (44) focuses on national and international M&A‑transactions, in particular in the financial industry. Further he advises in compliance matters and banking law.

Holger Steinborn studied law at the University Gießen, Germany. Since 2001 he is admitted as attorney-at-law in Germany. The lawyer has long-term experience as head of Compliance and KYC (responsible for money-laundering prevention, compliance and FATCA/CRS) at one of Austria’s largest banks. Prior to this, he was responsible as lawyer for participations and M&A with the bank and worked as attorney-at-law in Austria and Germany with a focus on Corporate/M&A.
