bpv Huegel receives triple recognition at the ITR Tax Awards 2025

bpv Huegel was honored with three awards at the ITR Tax Awards 2025, once again confirming its leading position in tax law in Austria.

London | Vienna, September 2025. At this year’s ITR EMEA Tax Awards, bpv Huegel’s tax team was recognized in three categories, reaffirming its standing as one of Austria’s leading tax law firms.

The team received awards for:

  • Austria Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year
  • Austria Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year
  • Austria Indirect Tax Law Firm of the Year

With this triple success, bpv Huegel continues its impressive track record at the renowned International Tax Review Awards: Following the double win last year in the categories “Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year – Austria” and “Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year – Austria,” the team achieved a triple victory for the first time in 2025.

We are truly delighted about this exceptional recognition. It is a testament to the commitment and professional excellence of our team – and to the trust our clients place in us to guide them through complex tax matters,” says Nico Wolski, Head of Tax at bpv Huegel.

The tax team had already been named “Tax Disputes Firm of the Year – Austria” in 2021 and 2022, followed by the “Tax Firm of the Year – Austria” award in 2023.

The ITR Tax Awards, now in their 21st edition, celebrate the most outstanding tax advisors and law firms across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). In addition to the size and innovative strength of the firms, the expert jury particularly assesses the complexity and significance of the projects handled.
