bpv Huegel further strengthens its tax practice with Nicolas Wolski

The experienced attorney-at-law and tax advisor Nicolas Wolski (36) joins the tax team of bpv Huegel. He previously worked as European Counsel in the Frankfurt office of the renowned US-law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher. International dual-qualified professionals (attorney-at-law/tax advisor) are a particular strength of bpv Huegel’s tax practice.

Moedling/Vienna, December 2018. Nicolas Wolski, qualified as attorney-at-law and as tax advisor in Germany, joins bpv Huegel’s tax team. He has profound transaction and advisory experience from long-standing work at Freshfields, Graf von Westphalen and most recently as European Counsel in the Frankfurt office of the New York law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

Nicolas Wolski focuses on tax advice in M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in the private equity industry and advised inter alia Ardian on the acquisition of SLV, 3i Group on the acquisition of Formel-D and Wendel-Group/Constantia Flexibles on the sale of Constantia labels business. He further specialises in international reorganisations and financing. Nicolas Wolski has an outstanding track record in advising banks, corporates and private equity houses on tax aspects of syndicated loan agreements.

Nicolas Wolski most recently completed postgraduate master studies in “Tax Law and Accounting” in Vienna. He moved to Austria for family reasons.

For the tax team bpv Huegel focuses on international dual-qualified professionals: partner Kornelia Wittmann is qualified as attorney-at-law in Germany and tax advisor in Austria and Hungary; and practice group leader Gerald Schachner is also qualified as attorney-at-law and tax advisor.
