20th Wiener Juristengespräche – Risks and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence

Will there be a paradigm shift in the legal and commercial world?

1.-2. March 2019. In the race for new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Blockchains, new legal and commercial challenges but also chances for economic growth through automatization are arising. AI has, in fact, a long history, but the current hype about this technical phenomenon may be explained by our increasingly data-driven society and the volumes of data that can no longer be managed, let alone commercialized without the support of such systems. There are several application possibilities and even more needs for AI and, hence, AI has relevance for almost each industry. bpv Hügel invites to a seminar @STRABAG Kunstforum, which will deal with questions of the digital penetration of the legal and commercial world and also address the technical, ethical and other aspects in this context.
