bpv Hügel advises on gas deal

Vienna, October 1st, 2014. Bpv Hügel has advised OMV-subsidiary Gas Connect Austria on transferring the Trans Austria Gaspipeline (TAG) and its corresponding branch of activity to the Austro-Italian joint venture TAG GmbH by way of an asset deal. Comprising 380 km between Baumgarten (near the Slovakian border) and Arnoldstein (near the Italian border), TAG Pipeline is the longest gas pipeline in Austria. In return for the transfer, Gas Connect Austria was provided with new shares in connection with a capital increase as well as with jouissance rights issued by TAG GmbH.
