bpv Huegel advises life science company BioVendor on the sale of Immunolab

30 January 2019. bpv Huegel advised BioVendor – Laboratorni medicina a.s. in Brno, Czech Republic, on the sale of Immunolab GmbH to Eurofins in Luxembourg, on the negotiation of the SPA (Sales and Purchase Agreement) and on various ancillary agreements.

The BioVendor Group is an international diagnostics company based in Brno, Czech Republic. BioVendor offers a wide range of in vitro diagnostic technologies and competencies, including proprietary development and manufacturing of immunoassays and molecular diagnostics for the clinical market, as well as a broad offering for the life sciences market.

Immunolab produces highly sensitive and specific immunodiagnostics and analytical reagents. Founded in 1992, Immunolab started the business as a routine laboratory for allergy diagnostics. From 2014 to 2018, Immunolab belonged to the Biovendor Group.

Eurofins Scientific SE, based in Luxembourg, is a listed group in the field of analytical laboratories. The group offers bioanalytical services worldwide, primarily in the areas of food and feed, pharmaceuticals and the environment.
