bpv advises HYPO NOE on the sale of real estate service companies in the CEE countries

Deal-Report | March, 2020. HYPO NOE has sold real estate service companies in five CEE countries, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia. A bpv team led by Thomas Lettau, bpv Huegel, Co-Head Corporate/M&A, advised HYPO NOE on this transaction.

The sale was successfully completed in all countries in only three months. The transaction confirms bpv’s leading position in CEE transactions. bpv Huegel already advised HYPO NOE last year on the spin-off and sale of the property management business of HYPO NOE Real Consult GmbH.

HYPO NOE Landesbank is the largest and oldest regional mortgage bank in Austria (compared by total assets (consolidated financial statements 2018) and date of foundation). Based on a strong market position in Lower Austria and Vienna, it operates mainly in Austria and Germany, and in selected markets of the European Union.

In the bpv team led by bpv Huegel partner Thomas Lettau (Corporate/M&A) were Holger Steinborn (Corporate/M&A), Daniel Reiter (Corporate/M&A) and Tamara Tomic (Corporate/M&A) of bpv Huegel, Arthur Braun, Igor Augustinič and Juraj Gazda of bpv Braun, Bratislava, Cătălin Grigorescu and Dan Curiciuc of bpv GRIGORESCU ŞTEFĂNICĂ, Bucharest, and Andreas Jádi Németh, Péter Garancsi and Gábor Márky of bpv JÁDI NÉMETH, Budapest.
