Verena Hügel-Karpeles received her PhD from the University of Vienna in 2007 (Dr. iur.). She is with bpv Huegel since 2012. Prior to that, she worked for Negele Sele Frommelt in Liechtenstein in foundation law and for Gleiss Lutz, Frankfurt, in international M&A (2005-2008). She lived for several years in Shanghai, PRC and worked there as in-house counsel for Siemens Ltd. China (2008-2011). As a result, she offers extensive experience in contract negotiations with public and private companies in Asia and China.
