Michaela Pelinka specialises in real estate and tenancy law, M&A transactions as well as corporate and commercial law.

Mandates
Michaela has been advising national and international companies for about 15 years. She has extensive experience in corporate and M&A, in particular in the real estate sectors.

Selected mandates include:

  • International Aviation Group and Vueling Airlines on the offer to acquire Niki Luftfahrt GmbH and in connection with the formation of Level Airlines in Austria
  • ALLISTRO CAPITAL Fonds, Germany, in connection with the acquisition of the Hofer Medical Group, an Austrian manufacturer of medical products
  • conwert Immobilien Invest SE on the sale of commercial properties to HanseMerkur Grundvermögen (portfolio of 36 office and retail properties)
  • FLE GmbH on the acquisition of Pier50
  • Valneva SE in the cross-border merger of Intercell AG and in the subsequent procedure for reviewing the appropriateness of the exchange ratio
  • Restructuring of the Trans Austria Gas Pipeline
  • BMW sale of Husqvarna
  • Sale of Cemex sites
  • Takeover of Don Gil by Gerry Weber
  • German Würth Group in the acquisition of the Upper Austrian C.I.C.M.P. Vertriebs-GmbH, a leading company focusing on hydraulic connection technology and the assembly of hydraulic hoses
  • Zeus Packaging Group Limited on the acquisition of the Petruzalek Group and 11 subsidiaries of Petruzalek in the CEE region

Teaching activities and lectures
Dr. Michaela Pelinka is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences bfi as well as at the Department of Business Law and European Integration at the Danube University Krems and regularly gives lectures at other universities, institutions, congresses as well as seminars.

Education and professional background
Michaela holds a doctorate from the University of Vienna (Dr.iur.) and an LL.M. in European Business Law. Before joining bpv Huegel in 2009, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Civil Law, Commercial Law and Securities Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and as an associate for a renowned law firm in Vienna.
