Joint publication by WKO, BWB and bpv Huegel on competition law and arbitration

Together with the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Competition Authority, bpv Huegel has published a brochure on “Antitrust Law and Arbitration”.

 12 December 2019. Dr Florian Neumayr, Co-Managing Partner, Head of Dispute Resolution and Co-Head of the Antitrust Practice Group at bpv Huegel, together with authors from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Competition Authority, has published a brochure on “Antitrust Law and Arbitration” for a professional handling of antitrust rules in private enforcement.

The jointly developed brochure deals with the question of how undertakings can effectively enforce competition law claims in arbitration proceedings.

“The brochure is intended to give companies an overview of the possibilities to enforce claims in the event of antitrust violations by means of arbitration. It explains the different paths and offers insights for the correct wording of the arbitration clause and other practical tips,” says Dr Florian Neumayr, cartel and arbitration expert at bpv Huegel.
